1962 Cuban Missile Crisis:
During the Cold War, in 1962, The Soviet Union and Cuba allied against America. Cuba is only 70 miles off of the coast of Flordia, a US state, so when the US saw that Cuba had Soviet Union missles in it they tried to get them removed. In the end, Soviet Union and the US agreed to have the US remove their missles in Afganistan if the Soviet Union would remove their missiles in Cuba.
